In May 2017, CMP opened its doors to one of the most modern paint factories in the world. All products are produced fully automatically in a unique ‘closed system’, which means that no solvent vapors are lost. This has resulted in a reduction of solvent emissions to 0,01%. In addition, the energy required to produce the coatings is generated by 1200 solar panels mounted on the roof of the factory. The indoor climate (factory and offices) is also regulated by a ground source heat pump that uses the energy generated by the same solar panels.
