As a part of our team, you’ll be in the heart of the action—working closely with stakeholders across production, regulatory affairs, and sales to bring innovative coating solutions to life.

What You’ll Do:

• Product Innovation & Development: Formulate and develop new coatings and improve existing formulations in line with strategic goals.

• Testing & Analysis: Perform thorough testing on application properties within the laboratory, and occasionally on-site, to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

• Production Collaboration: Maintain close communication with the production department to ensure a smooth transition from formulation to large-scale production.

• Sales Support: Act as a technical resource for the sales team, providing insights on product innovations and formulation advancements.

• Patent Participation: Support patent applications in collaboration with Regulatory Affairs, when applicable.

• Industry Tracking: Stay informed on market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments within the coating industry.

Who are you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience, plus at least 10 years in R&D with a strong foundation in formulation chemistry.

• Fluent in both English and Dutch, with strong communication skills in both languages.

• Stress-resistant, pragmatic, and energized by a dynamic work environment where quick, effective responses to unexpected situations are essential.

• Strong numerical skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and make data-driven decisions.

• Knowledge on raw material market in EU

• Knowledge on qualification testing in relation to standards as ISO12944, ACQPA and UNE.
